Cheltenham Organic Store (COS) was established over 30 years ago and is one of the most respected whole foods organic stores in Australia. 

Originally set up by the Wade family within a factory in the Melbourne bayside suburb of Cheltenham, COS continues to be a family-run operation. At the time, the Wades were experiencing personal health problems but had difficulty sourcing fresh, organic produce for themselves. They decided to approach farmers for organic food and then sell-on to others who also wanted to avoid chemicals and artificial hormones in their diet.
